graduation weekend!!!

This is IT, the big weekend of ends and beginings. to be perfectly honest im just glad that im actually getting out of high school and starting a new chapter in my life.
 this year has been fun, crazy, exciting, sad, and most of all, an all around learning experience. haha pun intended. (i know, im a dork.)
in honar if this change and to celebrate my extreme dorkiness and my graduation form childhood into the brink of adulthood, i have been doing all the fun kid things that i used to do as a kid(for the past couple of weeks). for example, watching old disney vhs videos, playing gameboy, making a new account on neopets (that i used to LOVE when i was a kid.... kinda still do actually)..  i am buying the new pokemon game, and my brother and i have a plan to see who can finish it the fastest. and most of all, im enjoying the precious time i have left living with my family before i depart and begin my education at the art institute of salt lake city.

so pretty much the last week, actually, make it year, has been pretty unforgettable.

my family is amazing, seth is amazing. God has really blessed me.

can't wait to see whats planned next!

My Daddys Home from Afghanistan!

today has been quite an entertaining day. our family woke up this lovely friday morning at about 6:30 (which is sleeping in for me...) to go to the very busy atlanta airport to pick up my dad from his 7 month tour to afghanistan. his flight was due to come in at about 10:45 in the morning, and we were doing well on time to drive the two hours to get there on time. at about 9:30 one of our family friends text messages us and asks what flight number and airline dads on, we told him and he replied fairly quickly that the flight that my dad was on was going to be early! we were about 45 mins away and he was gonna be walking up the escalator in about 30 mins to no family, and an old "USO" lady that was gonna tell him where to go. needless to say, we didn't really enjoy that scenario in our minds so we picked up the pace a bit...

about 29 mins later we skipped up the airport stairs and waited patiently with our cameras while our hero came, (slowly), into view. a few people from dads work met us there and we all greeted him with the welcome he deserved, a kiss from mamma, some big hugs from the kiddos (me, brandon, and ashley), and some very entusiastic handshakes from his office friends. and i managed, through some joyful tears,( and the hustle and bustle of Alanta..) to get the pics of our happy renunion! enjoy.

My big 18!

ok so today was pretty fun!
i had my 18th birthday party in style. princess style that is. my theme was disney princess :]

i dnont really have time tonight to lay out allt he details. so i'll just show them. everyone loves pictures anyway!

so yeah. it was pretty much amazing :]

big week!

happy march first, everyone!
what a beautiful day god blessed us with today.
today was one of those days that the few realistic love songs are made of. i love the simple things in life. like  after eating a nice, home cooked meal, a simple drive to Mcdonalds with your lover for an apple pie. mmmmmmm! and on the way, laughing and having a great time enjoying each others company. i have to say, being with someone who is your best friend is the only way to have a relationship. Seth is my best friend, and today, and its simple easy fun, was a fairytale. :]

the end of this week however is what im waiting for. my 18th birthday is on march 4th!
and, the very next day the end of a long long journey. my dad returns from his seven month tour of afghanistan. WOOT WOOT! needless to say, this week is gonna be very exciting. hopefully i'll have time to write more. but i think i'm gonna be a tad busy this week. soo now its bed time! i'll have pictures up of our family's happy reunion!
